I worked at this school for 8 months…many years ago. I’ve been back several times to visit…things have gotten better and better.
The restored colonial buildings, the colorful indigenous population, and the surrounding volcanoes make you feel like you’re walking around in a postcard.
One can spend hours in the central plaza soaking it all in.
The city is fairly small so you can walk almost everywhere.
There are many traveler’s from around the world which give it a fun atmosphere…but it’s not exactly off the beaten path.
